[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text el_class=”NEW”]NEW: The 30-Day Innovation Challenge[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]You hire a speaker. Everyone leaves the event motivated. And then what? One study shows that immediately after a 10-minute presentation, listeners only remembered 50% of the content. A day later that number dropped to 25%, a week later it was 10%, and as the days passed, everyone forgot everything altogether.
Of course, some speeches are more memorable than others. Regardless, people need a constant reminder while on the job to put concepts into action and to build new habits.
Introducing our 30-Day Innovation Challenge.
After attending a presentation by Stephen Shapiro, every audience member will participate in a 30-day competition. Each day following the speech, a question will be sent to the attendees’ smart phones or email. This will test their understanding of innovation and recollection of Stephen’s approach. Players earn points for correct answers. Points are deducted for incorrect answers or taking too long to answer. Bonus points are given for strings of correct answers.
Each question is followed by a 1-minute educational video expanding upon the content.
The leaderboard shows everyone’s score. Bonus points can be awarded by supervisors to individuals who demonstrate the application of innovative thinking on the job.
After 30 days, a winner is declared and a prize is awarded.
This process takes just two-minutes a day and is a fundamentally different way of educating your employees after the conclusion of an event. Gamification helps stimulate a healthy competition and continues to build connections between individuals. The bonus points
reward on-the-job behavioral change. And the library of 30 videos is available to review at any time.
Our 30-Day Innovation Challenge will cause you to fundamentally rethink the value you get from your speaker – before, during and after – the speech.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text el_class=”bottomtext”]
Want to deliver training to a large and geographically diverse audience? Our teleseminars are ideal. With this option, Stephen provides customized teleseminars on a wide range of innovation and creativity topics. These low-cost sessions are used to reinforce important messages on a regular basis, helping ensure effective results. These sessions can be recorded and saved for future listening. This frees you up to focus on what matters most – your business.
“The audience loved you and the feedback was amazingly positive. Just to give you an idea of how positive it was, during IndustryWeek’s webcasts (which we typically do once a week) and all of our online conferences, we collect data on a lot of these same questions. The presenter rating you received – 4.52 – was one of the highest of all time. We’ve only seen maybe a dozen speakers (out of 250+ presenters we’ve tracked since 2005) surpass the 4.0 mark, so to see a number above 4.5 is wonderful.” – IndustryWeek Magazine
All of our teleseminars can be customized to meet your specific needs. Past teleseminars include:
Re-Arranging Deck Chairs on the Titanic: How to Bust Assumptions – On the surface, your business looked great. But what if, lurking underneath, were hidden assumptions that were about to sink you? Sometimes the most powerful barriers to success are outside our view. These submerged (and often incorrect) beliefs prevent real innovation from emerging. Learn how to chart a new course for your business using techniques for surfacing and busting assumptions.
Everything You Know about Innovation is Wrong: 10 Radical Tips for Creating a Culture of Innovation – Do you agree with the following statements? Striving for consensus is desirable. Brainstorming is a great way of generating ideas. We want to hear the best ideas from our employees. What if all of these statements are wrong? What if there are better ways for creating a culture of innovation? In this teleseminar, you will learn 10 proven (and sometimes radical) methods for pumping up the innovation quotient of your organization.
Discover Your Innovation Personality Style – 98% of 5-year-old children are highly creative, yet by the time we are 25, that percentage shrinks to only 2%. Does that mean that the majority of us can no longer participate in the innovation process? Of course not! Everyone has different ways in which they solve problems – and all are valuable. The key is to learn your innovation strengths and then use them to make the greatest contribution to the organization. In this session, participants take a brief personality quiz and then discuss the results as a group opening up communication and enhancing teamwork.
